A passionate advocate for justice and fairness, Susan is committed to making sure that elderly individuals are treated with respect and dignity in all areas of their life—including legal matters. She works diligently to ensure that their wishes are respected, while also advocating for their best interests when it comes to estate planning, healthcare decisions, and financial security. Moreover, she provides compassionate counsel to families navigating the delicate complexities of family law issues like estate administration, guardianship arrangements, divorce proceedings, and parenting disputes.

Throughout her career, Susan has remained involved in her local community. She regularly contributes pro-bono services at local senior centers and has served as a board member of the Canadian Elder Law Organization since 2016. Additionally, she speaks frequently at local events such as seminars on legal matters affecting seniors and workshops on family law issues for those considering separation or divorce.

In recognition for her dedication to service on behalf of others, Susan was awarded the Ontario Bar Association's Award for Excellence in Elder Law in 2019. Susan holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto Law School and is admitted to practice law across Canada’s provinces and territories via reciprocity agreements between members of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada. When not practicing law or engaging with her community through volunteering activities, Susan enjoys kayaking on Lake Ontario with her husband and two children
